Tiferet Israel Sisterhood

The purpose of Sisterhood is to advance Tiferet Israel Congregation; promote Jewish education in the home
and the religious school; and encourage religious,
cultural and social activities for its membership and the community.

 This purpose is advanced by:

•  Coming together for frequent, interesting social and educational programs
•  Enjoying the camaraderie
•  Maintaining a Youth Fund that provides for the needs of our Religious School and other youth programs
•  Providing each  Bar/Bat Mitzvah a Siddur, each Confirmed a Bible, and each Graduate a meaningful Jewish text
•  Helping prepare some Shabbat kiddushes
•  Supporting a variety of Tiferet Israel projects
•  Preparing and distributing Mishloach Manot Baskets
•  Volunteering help in leadership and other roles at Tiferet's annual Kosher Chili Cookoff.
